From Classic to Modern Sounds
Blues Tone is Ton Tone's version of Marshall's classic and renowned Blues Breaker, but what sets the Tom Tone Blues Tone apart from the others?
The headroom, which used to be good, is now better, which means that those who used to use it simply as a gain booster or to adjust their clean sound will now be able to do so with greater fidelity.
Now you can switch between Standard and Modified mode, allowing you to keep the same consecrated tone but modernizing your drive texture, which will take you to another level of gain and performance
If the Standard/Modified Mode switch already took you to another level, the cut switch working together will give you 3 more sound options for each mode. More Gain or more Headroom or the classic Marshall Blues Breaker
The Type switch will allow you to choose between the classic model of the pedal where you practically replicate all the tones of a well-known Blues Breaker, or travel back in time and update your pedal with current tones and more modern drive layers.
The Clip Switch switch has 3 positions that work together with the model switch, which can offer tones from a clean sound to a modern hard rock drive with compression and good gain.
Many musicians felt that the original Blues Breakers lacked more gain, which has been solved in the Blues Tone.
In addition to a much larger headroom, for those who want a clean boost without the typical cranked tone, the cut-off switch still offers the same well-established tone for more conservative musicians and can also take you back to modern times with a more aggressive drive and higher gain.
