As a result, the British Unit obtained a greater gain and sustain than its American competitor.
This tone was the foundation for practically all the distorted sounds of that period, passing through the feet of the most famous guitarists of the time (read Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Pete Townshend and Cia).
Inspired by this fabulous pedal and rescuing that same atmosphere, Tom Tone brings his version of the Famous Tone Bender (r) MKII, with the same quality of the components, the result is the Tombender MKII, a fuzz full of harmonics, full-bodied, with a lot of drive and sustain.
Incredible as it sounds dynamic and sensitive to volume control, if you remove the volume from your guitar it will come clean, but if you feed it little by little, you turn it into a grinding machine spreading your drive power on your amplifier.
